From playing violin at the conservatory to founding one of the most influential punk bands to being a symphonic conductor while extending his band’s style with dub and metal; that is the short version of Jaz Coleman’s history and his band Killing Joke. Friday at Huxley’s.
Die Blockflöte des Todes (~Recorder of Death) is musical comedy at its best. Btw, no one will play a recorder, instead we have a cello and a guitar and the great lyrics by Matthias Schrei – all in German though. Friday in our very own Kulturbrauerei.
Representing the electronic faction this Friday is Antidote from the Netherlands, playing their 90s Acid and Hard-Trance at Griessmuehle.
Lucifer from Sweden is playing classic heavy metal, and they do so Sunday at Cassiopeia.
Therapy? on the other hand might be described as college rock, and that’s all I’m going to say about them, other that they are playing SO36 on Sunday.
