Yes. Our trekking bikes with 24 gears are reliable, well-maintained and suitable for multi-day cycling trips. Many guests have used them for longer routes, including the Berlin Wall Trail, trips to Copenhagen and tours to neighbouring countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic and Denmark.

We do not rent road bikes or gravel bikes but our bikes are a good choice for exploring Berlin, Brandenburg and beyond.

Is Berlin a good city for cycling?

Yes. Berlin is a flat city and easy to explore by bike. The city has more than 2,000 km of cycling routes and the network is still expanding. Many quieter routes lead through parks, residential areas and bicycle streets where bikes have priority.

Before you set off, we are happy to share cycling routes based on what you would like to see.

What happens if a rental bike is stolen?

Frequently asked questions about e-bike rental in Berlin

What types of e-bikes can I rent in Berlin?

This allows us to provide a suitable e-bike for almost every height, riding style and level of experience.

What rider heights are the e-bikes suitable for?

Let us know your height when booking, and we will prepare a suitable e-bike for you.

Which motors and batteries do the e-bikes use?

Our rental e-bikes are equipped with reliable Bosch drive systems.

Depending on the model, the bikes use motors ranging from the Bosch Active Line Plus to the Bosch Performance Line CX. All e-bikes have powerful 500 Wh batteries.

How far can I ride on one battery charge?

The range depends on several factors, including the support level, riding style, route, terrain, temperature and weather.

As a general guide:

  • Eco mode: up to 150 km
  • Tour mode: up to 90 km
  • Turbo mode: up to 60 km

One battery charge is normally sufficient for most day trips in and around Berlin.

For rentals of more than 24 hours, a charger is included free of charge. For shorter rentals, we can also provide a charger on request.

How long does it take to charge an e-bike battery?

A completely empty battery usually takes around four to five hours to charge fully.

Are locks included in the e-bike rental price?

Yes. Every e-bike is supplied with two locks so that you can secure it properly during your trip.

Can I take out theft protection for the e-bike?

Yes. Additional theft protection is available for €5 per rental day. – This reduces your excess in the event of theft from €1,000 to €500.

For example, the additional protection for a one-week e-bike rental costs €25 in total.

You can add the theft protection when booking or when collecting the e-bike.

What should I do if I have a breakdown with my e-bike?

Call us on +49 173 9459487 and we will find the best possible solution with you.

We will help you with the next steps. Subject to availability, we will also try to provide a replacement bike for the remainder of your rental period.

Where should I store the e-bike overnight?

Never leave the e-bike on a public street overnight. Even a high-quality lock cannot provide reliable protection against theft in this situation.

The e-bike must be stored overnight in a locked courtyard, cellar, bicycle room or garage. Please remove the battery and display and take them inside your accommodation.

Do I need previous e-bike experience?

No. Our e-bikes are easy to operate, and we will explain all the important functions when you collect the bike.

Most guests feel comfortable and confident after just a few minutes.

Can I ride the e-bike outside Berlin?

Yes. Our e-bikes are suitable for both city rides and longer trips into the surrounding area.

The large batteries make destinations such as Potsdam, Wannsee and the Berlin Wall Trail easy to reach.
